Windows: extract the zip to a permanent folder first (don't run it from inside the archive), then run Voicefall.exe. On first launch Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — a new release hasn't built SmartScreen reputation yet. Click More info → Run anyway; the dialog shows the publisher HENGCHENG LLC (digitally signed). No accessibility setup needed — hold Right Alt and speak.
Upgrading from v0.2.10 or earlier? This release switches to Apple's Developer ID signature and is notarized, so macOS treats it as a new app — your old Accessibility permission no longer applies and the hotkey will silently stop working (the switch still looks on). Voicefall pops up a dialog to walk you through it: if the switch is off, just turn it on; if it already looks on, remove Voicefall with "−" and add it back with "+". One time only — later updates won't break it.
While speaking you'll see "🎤 Listening…" at the bottom of the screen; the 🎤 menu-bar icon shows your license status.
